Bo Knows...Home!

Home Field Advantage...he had my attention..any sports enthusiast knows how important protecting home field advantage is...no team wants to get their butts kicked in front of the home crowd.

These were the opening comments of Bo Boshers to a group of emerging leaders during a private coaching session and meal after the RELOAD NYC conference we hosted at Christ Tabernacle this weekend.

In a few minutes...he went on the unpack for us the importance of maintaining our homes (spouse and children) while continuing to perform in ministry at the highest level.

- protect home - busyness is ministry is not an excuse
- we're not perfect...we make mistakes (losses are inevitable) but we keep at it
- don't be ashamed if things are not right...confront and work on it...we can't afford to get our butts kicked at home.

He sealed the deal when he looked over at his daughter Tiffany aka Princess and barely uttered the words: 'It's great having you on this trip with me...I love you!'

We said the names of our children out loud and prayed...it was money in the bank!

A shout out to my friend Adam who conceptually masterminded the entire weekend including the private coaching session and meal with Bo. Earlier in the day, Adam admitted in his workshop to having 'pinky and the brain' syndrome - his insatiable appetite to take over the world...after this weekend his disease is forgivable.
